By far my favourite episode. Kling is an incredibly fun character, kind of an anti-hero with an entertaining personality. I love how from the start his gleeful friendliness is creepy, but we haven't seen nothing until his target is alone and prime to give him the info he wants. I'd love to see more about him in the future. The episode is fun, a slow intense burn until things go downhill with some of the best animation you've shown so far! Your voice acting has improved too, but I still recommend adding subtitles as Andy is occasionally still hard to understand. The worst part about it is is that it isn't canon to the main story. :(

currently doing the second one :D

This would make a very interesting mobile game.

I have to say that "Red Snow" is one of your best works so far. I like the storyline itself and how much time it allows itself to take so things become clearer. The sound mixing is quite good, the soundtracks are used well, and the animation has improved by a long shot over the original Pretty Blood episode, "Rinny".

Issue-wise I feel that the sound effects from the game Undertale are weirdly misused here. Hearing the character's "voice" go from 'Asriel' pitch to 'Flowey', 'Toriel' or the human's pitch (which is used to describe things rather than being a character's dialogue) feels off and takes me out of the experience somewhat. It's a mild complaint, however.

The plot does quite well in establishing a lot of the characters. My favorite is Bloon, since he knows how to handle himself and generally is a very wise Malino. (It's sad knowing his fate. A real shame.) Rinny is despicable in every possible manner. She's been portrayed murdering the family of a little girl before as well as her own daughter, but now she stained her hands with an entire family, including an elder and a young child. It's disturbing on many levels. Seeing Rinny cry for mercy after committing heinous acts and then having them committed back on her through Luny is not only hypocritical, but extremely cowardly. I thought it was hard to make Rinny any more despicable than she is already, but now I only want to see her die no matter what, though eternal torment would be better.

The animation is squeamish not only because of the gore, but also because of the establishment of characters. I found it a lot more bearable when the characters we were introduced to were characters we knew nothing about. Characters like the Twins and Pompom did not deserve to get tortured, but knowing nothing about them made watching them suffer more bearable and watching gory deaths of cartoons akin to Happy Tree Friends is oddly relaxing for me at times. Characters that we learn about such as the family here and characters from "Dream Terror" not only do not deserve to be hurt or tortured, but we learn so much about them that we wind up rooting for them instead. It's hard to re-watch any of the episodes after the first time and it only leaves a depressing pit in my stomach when I think about them.

Still, "Red Snow" is very well done and left me on the edge of my seat with a lot of interesting suspense.

Fairly decent animation, interesting drama. A lot of the disposable corpses and quick animation have really wonky artwork and the main character has an uncanny resemblance to Cream the Rabbit from the Sonic series, who is six. Seeing a character so young undergo this much torment would be sickening so I hope the rabbit in this cartoon is a lot older.

The only issues I had here is that the song of "I'm Dreaming Of A White Christmas" is heavily misused here, as there is no reference to Christmas anywhere else in the episode. There are some spelling and grammar issues in the dialogue, but the voiceacting here is a lot better than in previous animations but a lot of the crying and yelling still sounds restrained like they're trying not to wake their parents up who are sleeping in the other room. It is also of terrible quality, making every clip sound tinny and crackly and the audio tends to peak occasionally, which hurts my ears. The spoken clips are muffled because of the poor quality and the main character is still impossible to understand. There need to be subtitles.

There is something oddly satisfying about watching torture, though it would feel a lot better if the characters that endure it deserved it. (Like Rinny for example. Hint, hint.) I love how meme-worthy the insane faces are. The plot about using a rabbit for torture makes little sense to me. Rabbits are prey animals and would be most fragile when subjected to abuse and there is no explanation in the film as of why a rabbit would not only withstand torment, but not even cry. Generally, the plot of Technical/Pretty Blood is hard to follow. I wish there would be more of a separation between the two, with Pretty Blood being mostly focused on the illegal torture, and Technical being mostly about the story. Technical usually does a better job at explaining itself.

I still heavily suspect these animations to be born from some sort of fetish, or hatred for society. However I feel letting out one's anger, hatred, and depression in the form of snuff movies of cute, little animals that do not really exist is a lot better than harming real animals or even people. I don't care what purpose Pretty Blood serves. I just want to be safe in the knowledge that you don't hurt anything that isn't a harmless cartoon.

Can we expect to see characters like Pompom and the Twins reach some sort of conclusion in the future?

"Rinny" is LittleCuteCorpse's most disturbing "Pretty Blood" film. With the lack of any music, the drawn out scenes of torture and having to listen to Rinny's child screaming, choking and gagging is extremely uncomfortable to watch, especially as none of it seems justified. There is a clear inspiration here from the anime series "Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni" for the more intense scenes which gives it a more "horror" feel than a "drama" feel.

Something about Rinny's prominence and the fact she gets away with whatever she does is extremely disturbing as I feel Rinny is an outlet for the author's wish to harm others through this cartoon. It's easy to say "It's just fiction," however the realism and genuine cruelty of the cartoon makes me very concerned for the author's well-being. She receives a lot of satisfaction by abusing her own child to death in what seems to be a cartoon-version of a snuff film, even filming it and uploading it as she blushes and breathes heavily, which is a clear indicator or sexual gratification.

The child is in no way bratty or bad. She is merely playing and greets her mother with open arms and love, which makes it hard to watch as she is helplessly brutalized, tortured and eventually reduced to a bloody pulp by an equally (or less) disturbed man. The turning point is sudden, cruel and unjustified, only adding to my suspicion that these cartoons are made for some sort of gratification rather than to tell a story or create a believable drama. I may be wrong, though. A lot of innocent characters are harmed in "Pretty Blood" despite doing nothing wrong and I feel that it may be one of the bigger flaws in the series. If the characters deserved it it would be far more satisfying to see them hurt, but I don't think even that would mask the fact that a mother is literally slaughtering her family for pleasure.

The character-designs in "Pretty Blood" are very good and adorable and their faces are very expressive and diverse. The animation is very decent. I've mentioned this before, but there is a lot of detail in the simplistic animation and it gives it a "classic Newgrounds" feel, which I list as a plus. However in these older cartoons the author tends to shift the faces oddly and angles begin to seem rather off at some points. However I'm far from calling the animation bad.

The "plot" of the cartoon is simple, although the ending of Rinny's daughter looking sadly upon her home is confusing at best. I like the use of the different characters having unique personalities each and a lot of scenes are communicated well even without dialogue or pictures.

In conclusion, "Rinny" is an animated snuff film with an uncomfortable amount of realism, making it hard to watch despite the cute characters and sometimes humorous, exaggerated expressions. I would rate it higher for the thriller-like athmosphere and well done animation, though the sheer discomfort and the suspicion I have towards the author forces me to give this entry to "Pretty Blood" a very low rating.

Yes, because of this content (Pretty Blood), no strange if people suspicion me that am I sick.
Also, I want to tell you that i'm a murderer, I murder my cell brain everyday from being stupid so you don't need to wonder why I create content that downtrust myself lol.

LittleCuteCorpse's "Pretty Blood" is a psychological horror series that mirrors horror games and movies today; and not in a good way. "Pretty Blood" feels like a splatter film rather than a narrative of the Horror/Drama genre. Unlike its sister-cartoons like "Happy Tree Friends" it has a very disturbing atmosphere with the lack of music, drawn out torture, and the glee that the antagonist ("Rinny" in this case.) expresses.

While the gore is at the core, story often falls flat and appears confusing at best and outright bad at worst. I do wish for a little bit of a coherent plot that is simple and to the point, tying the events of the different movies together. This may be a personal preference though.

The animation itself is quite good, very impressive for the program used and it has a very 2008 feel to it, which I feel is a positive. A lot of effort clearly went into this cartoon and I can appreciate that. The designs are adorable, and expressions are full of life and personality.

If you like seeing people (Chibified anthropomorphic animals in this case) suffer from it it may be good for you to check out. If not, it is a drawn-out, unbearable cartoon-version of a snuff film that makes you feel unsafe by even viewing it. Characters like "Rinny" are never properly punished for their act, which just makes it feel like they're in the right in the author's view. (The antagonist killed her own family and got away with it by blaming someone else. She is also seen blushing and breathing heavily while killing her daughter, which is suspiciously sexual.) I do hope that villainous characters like "Rinny" eventually get their comeuppance, which would help save the narrative from its currently very hopeless and miserable atmosphere, as well as its sexual tension.

While I enjoy violence and torture to an extent when it serves a narrative or is justified, "Pretty Blood" feels more like an unnerving desire to harm others expressed by the author which makes me feel concerned about their stability. With nothing but the torment to back it up it's hard to recommend "Pretty Blood" to anyone in its current state.

Hey. I'm Alex. I also go by Pop[DOT]Astro, JoresuOni and DriftStar depending on what content I want to upload. I'm 25+.
