By far my favourite episode. Kling is an incredibly fun character, kind of an anti-hero with an entertaining personality. I love how from the start his gleeful friendliness is creepy, but we haven't seen nothing until his target is alone and prime to give him the info he wants. I'd love to see more about him in the future. The episode is fun, a slow intense burn until things go downhill with some of the best animation you've shown so far! Your voice acting has improved too, but I still recommend adding subtitles as Andy is occasionally still hard to understand. The worst part about it is is that it isn't canon to the main story. :(

currently doing the second one :D

"Rinny" is LittleCuteCorpse's most disturbing "Pretty Blood" film. With the lack of any music, the drawn out scenes of torture and having to listen to Rinny's child screaming, choking and gagging is extremely uncomfortable to watch, especially as none of it seems justified. There is a clear inspiration here from the anime series "Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni" for the more intense scenes which gives it a more "horror" feel than a "drama" feel.

Something about Rinny's prominence and the fact she gets away with whatever she does is extremely disturbing as I feel Rinny is an outlet for the author's wish to harm others through this cartoon. It's easy to say "It's just fiction," however the realism and genuine cruelty of the cartoon makes me very concerned for the author's well-being. She receives a lot of satisfaction by abusing her own child to death in what seems to be a cartoon-version of a snuff film, even filming it and uploading it as she blushes and breathes heavily, which is a clear indicator or sexual gratification.

The child is in no way bratty or bad. She is merely playing and greets her mother with open arms and love, which makes it hard to watch as she is helplessly brutalized, tortured and eventually reduced to a bloody pulp by an equally (or less) disturbed man. The turning point is sudden, cruel and unjustified, only adding to my suspicion that these cartoons are made for some sort of gratification rather than to tell a story or create a believable drama. I may be wrong, though. A lot of innocent characters are harmed in "Pretty Blood" despite doing nothing wrong and I feel that it may be one of the bigger flaws in the series. If the characters deserved it it would be far more satisfying to see them hurt, but I don't think even that would mask the fact that a mother is literally slaughtering her family for pleasure.

The character-designs in "Pretty Blood" are very good and adorable and their faces are very expressive and diverse. The animation is very decent. I've mentioned this before, but there is a lot of detail in the simplistic animation and it gives it a "classic Newgrounds" feel, which I list as a plus. However in these older cartoons the author tends to shift the faces oddly and angles begin to seem rather off at some points. However I'm far from calling the animation bad.

The "plot" of the cartoon is simple, although the ending of Rinny's daughter looking sadly upon her home is confusing at best. I like the use of the different characters having unique personalities each and a lot of scenes are communicated well even without dialogue or pictures.

In conclusion, "Rinny" is an animated snuff film with an uncomfortable amount of realism, making it hard to watch despite the cute characters and sometimes humorous, exaggerated expressions. I would rate it higher for the thriller-like athmosphere and well done animation, though the sheer discomfort and the suspicion I have towards the author forces me to give this entry to "Pretty Blood" a very low rating.
